Missing Christmas Series

Sundays in December
9:00am | 10:30am

ON CAMPUS & ONLINE
Have you ever found yourself missing Christmas during the holiday season? During December we'll explore common feelings like being overwhelmed, focusing too much on personal wants, pridefulness, or facing disappointment-emotions that can prevent us from truly enjoying the more important things and the true reason for Christmas. Through relatable stories from the Bible, we'll uncover how these experiences can impact our lives and how we can find deeper joy, peace, and hope during this time of year. Whether you're looking for a fresh outlook or simply want to explore the meaning behind the season, our December series offers insights that are relevant to everyone's life. Come join the conversation as we journey towards a more meaningful and fulfilling Christmas experience.

Serving

  • Angel Tree

We're proud to continue a Mainstreet tradition, the Angel Tree, this year! Pick up an "angel" from the tree in the lobby beginning December 1 to help less fortunate children have a special gift for Christmas. Wrapped gifts should be returned to the church no later than December 15.

  • Acts of Kindness

Spread joy by intentionally looking for ways to make someone else's day brighter.

    • Let someone go ahead of you in line, especially if they seem in a rush.
    • Bring treats or a meal to first responders, teachers, or a busy friend.
    • Pay it forward by buying coffee or a meal for the person behind you in line.
    • Hold the door open for someone, even if it takes a little extra time.
    • Donate gently used items like clothes or toys to a local charity or shelter.
    • Write a thank-you note to someone who’s made a difference in your life.
  • The Giving Center

This Christmas season, as you make room for new things, consider donating your gently used clothing and shoes to The Giving Center. Simply place your bagged donations in the collection bins located in the parking lot to keep items dry and easy to manage. The Giving Center, our free clothing store ministry, offers quality clothing at no cost to anyone in need. Your generosity helps bring love and encouragement to our community!

  • Season of Giving

Each Christmas, we want to be a place that blesses others through our Season of Giving initiative. Our hope is to provide opportunities to generously bless others as a church-wide family. You can learn more about both initiatives by following the link below as you prayerfully consider giving this year. Please know that there is a separate giving link provided for each initiative.
