Jamaica Hurricane Relief
This Christmas, we have chosen our UB communities in Jamaica as one of our Season of Giving recipients. Although many have already given in recent weeks, the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa was profound, and full recovery will require years of effort and significant resources. With winds reaching 185 mph, the hurricane struck Jamaica with its greatest force, leaving widespread destruction across our communities.
We are deeply grateful for those who have been faithfully praying and for everyone who responded so quickly to the immediate needs. As recovery continues in the years ahead, your generosity can help rebuild homes, restore churches, and renew hope.
SeaGate Food Bank
We know that these times are difficult for many, especially when it comes to meeting the basic need of putting food on the table. For this reason, we have chosen SeaGate Food Bank as one of our Season of Giving recipients this year.
SeaGate provides food entirely free of charge to hundreds of local pantries and programs. Their primary support comes from corporate partners, community organizations, and individual donors because they are not affiliated with a national organization. They pay no dues so 100% of every donation stays right here in our community, directly supporting families and seniors in need.
Outdoor Grounds
The Lord has blessed Mainstreet with 40 acres of property on which to do His work. We have a growing vision to create spaces where our surrounding communities—and our own community of faith—can engage in outdoor activities, connection, and ministry right here on our campus.
While the specifics are still being shaped, we envision the development of a new playground that will serve our preschool launching in 2026, as well as our Kids and Littles ministries and families from the broader community. We’re also exploring possibilities such as a walking trail with devotional signposts, a large pavilion, a firepit, and recreational areas—whether pickleball courts, soccer fields, or even a splash pad for families to enjoy.
