Amy and I were married in 1990 and have four adult children, two daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, four adorable granddaughters, and one precious grandson. I joined the staff at Mainstreet in 1995 and became the Lead Pastor in 2005. I love spending time with my wife and we’re trying to get used to not having kids’ activities and games to keep us on the go! I also love to play golf, although I rarely make time for it. After over two decades in ministry, my greatest joy is still seeing an individual life transformed by Christ and leading people where God is moving.

I’m blessed! I’ve been on staff as a Pastor at Mainstreet since 1997 and currently serve in the Grouplife and Serve Ministries. My wife, Amanda and I live in Rossford and have 3 adult daughters, and 3 fantastic sons-in-law that are all active and serve at Mainstreet too. I’m also blessed to be called “BopBop” by my grandchildren. In my spare time you'll find me riding my Harley!

My family and I joined Mainstreet in September of 2021 and are excited to be here! My wife Robyn and I have two daughters who share the same birthday, one year apart! In our free time, we love to play board games and video games together, going to the beach, and camping together. My heart is to create space for students to encounter God, connect to His Word, and share His love with their friends and peers.

I enjoy music, playing games, and reading. For the past decade, I have been leading worship and serving with youth ministries. I'm beyond excited to see what God has in store for me and my family at Mainstreet!

I am married to Jeff and have 3 grown sons, 3 daughter-in-laws and 3 amazing grandchildren - I love parenting in this phase and am so proud of them all! I love kids, ice-cream, shopping, sunshine and spending time with family and friends. I have been involved in children's ministries since 1996 and still have a great passion to see kids and their families draw closer to Jesus. I have an amazing team that I work with and am blessed to do "ministry" and call it my job!

I am honored to be part of the Mainstreet staff and community. I have been married since 1989 and have one adult son (Jake). As a volunteer, I serve on the 1st Impressions team, the Women's Ministry leadership team, and occasionally with the Worship Tech team. In my spare time, I coach Lake High School’s flag corps and majorettes and give private baton twirling lessons. I also enjoy reading, watching sporting events, visiting family, and hanging out with my mini golden doodle, Lola Bear.

God has a plan that we don't expect. I definitely never planned to move from home in Indiana to Walbridge Ohio! After one of my professors at HU got me in contact with Mainstreet, the crazy adventure began. I am what you would call a huge nerd! love playing games with my friends, watching movies with people, and play guitar whenever I have free time! I am excited to see what God has planned for me!

Marty Pennington
Elder / Lead Pastor
Marty has been on the pastoral staff of Mainstreet since 1995. He became our Lead Pastor in August of 2005. He has attended Mainstreet since 1972 and became a Christ-follower through this ministry in 1979. After re-committing his life to the Lord in early adulthood he has served in numerous capacities at Mainstreet including teacher, committee leader, administrative board member/chairman, discipleship leader, and has been involved in our music ministries for many years. Marty is married to Amy and they have four children and three granddaughters.

Tom Phillips
Elder
Tom has been attending Mainstreet Church for over eight years and has been a member for five years. Tom came to Christ at the age of 16. At Mainstreet, Tom has since been active in children’s ministry and special events like Serving Saturdays. He currently serves as an usher in guest services. Before attending Mainstreet, Tom and Karis also served as worship team members, small group leaders, youth ministry, children’s ministry, MOPS ministry, and as an elder couple. Tom’s favorite scriptures include Mark 12:28-31 and Micah 6:8 (NIV).
Tom and his wife Karis have been married 27 years and reside in Oregon. They have four children. Tom is a Captain with Toledo Fire and Rescue, serving at Station 9, in Toledo’s Old South End. -
Dustin Cress
Elder
Dustin has been attending Mainstreet Church since 2014, becoming a member in 2018. He became a Christ follower in 1999 as a junior in high school. At Mainstreet, Dustin has been active as a vocalist on the Worship Team and serves on the Worship Arts Leadership Team. Dustin’s favorite verse from scripture is Proverbs 11:25.
Dustin and his wife Stacey have been married since 2012 and reside in Perrysburg. They welcomed their first child, a son, in October 2019. Dustin is the district manager for a multifamily housing company and holds an Ohio real estate license. In his spare time, he enjoys watching college football and basketball, and spending as much time
as possible with family and friends. -
Keith Heidebrink
Elder
Keith has been attending Mainstreet Church for 16 years, having been a member for nearly 15 years. Keith accepted Christ as his personal savior at the age of 7. At Mainstreet, Keith has been involved with the Worship Team, Men’s Ministry as a group leader, and has participated in Serving Saturdays. Currently, he serves as an usher on the Guest Services Team. Before attending Mainstreet, Keith was an ordained minister and served as a full-time youth pastor for 15 years.
Keith and his wife Marsha have been married 38 years and reside in Perrysburg. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Keith is self-employed as a home improvement business owner. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking and spending time with his family.
