Serving is a great way to get connected with others and it an important aspect to your spiritual growth.  

So, when you’re ready, there’s always an outlet for your talents - from playing the guitar to using a hammer, running a video camera to stuffing envelopes - your effort will help make a difference in the lives of others!

Serve Opportunities

November GREEN Bag Donation Items
Pick up an empty GREEN Bag at the Serve Counter in the lobby. Hats, coats, scarves and gloves for local schools and shelters are being collected in November. Return the filled GREEN Bags by this Sunday, November 19.

Bell Ringers Needed
The Lake Township Branch of the Salvation Army needs bell ringers to man the kettle (November 24-25, December 1-2, 8-9, & 15-16). You can sign up in the lobby.

Buckeye Candy Sale
This Sunday, November 19 & December 17
The Laurel Missions Team will be selling Buckeye Candy in November and December. Cost/$5 per dozen. To purchase Buckeye Candy, stop by the Serve Counter in the lobby after each service on November 19 or December 17. Proceeds will be used at Laurel Mission for building supplies for projects the Mission will be undertaking next summer.

Christmas Cards for International Missionaries
We’re collecting Christmas cards to be sent to our missionaries abroad: You can drop your cards in boxes available at the Serve Counter through November 26.

Angel Tree 2017
A Christmas tree decorated with angels will be in the lobby beginning November 26. Each angel has information for a less fortunate child. Angel tags will only be available on Sunday mornings. Each family is asked to:
- Take at least one angel.
- Buy an appropriate gift, wrap it and attach the angel ($40 limit per child).
- Return gifts to the lobby by Sunday, December 17.

The Giving Center (our free clothing store ministry that offers good, quality clothing free of charge) is designed to serve everybody. Giving Center Needs

All donations of clothing and shoes can go in the collection bins located in the parking lot. Just a friendly reminder to place all your donations in bags prior to dropping in the bins. This keeps the clothing dry and makes it easier for unloading.
